Covid-19 Ventilation.

Government advice is to get your ventilation and air conditioning systems checked.

Air Conditioning systems should be inspected every 5 years by an accredited energy assessor such as RHB. You could be fined if you don’t!

CIBSE guidance on ventilation, as published during the pandemic, is to check your ventilation and air conditioning system to ensure they are working efficiently and, where possible, increase flow rates.

RHB can advise and offer assistance with the current CIBSE guidance to help prevent the spread and help the wellbeing of the occupants.

“The government’s Chief Scientific Advisor acknowledged that airborne transmission is a route, particularly in poorly ventilated spaces. As a result, organisations including CIBSE, ASHRAE, REHVA and BESA are advising that workplaces boost ventilation so indoor air is sufficiently diluted to eliminate the potential for airborne viral transmission.”
