Centenary Quay Phase 6 marks the final phase of Crest Nicholson’s flagship development in Southampton, setting new benchmarks for modern, sustainable living. This phase comprises three apartment blocks ranging from four to five stories. Our work on the communal systems aligns with Crest Nicholson’s dedication to innovation, environmental responsibility, and fostering vibrant communities. Together, we are helping to create a future where sustainability and resident well-being are seamlessly integrated.
We designed the communal systems for a new low-rise residential development, focusing on sustainability, efficiency, and safety. Our team integrated a Landlord Photovoltaic (PV) System to generate renewable energy for shared spaces, reducing operational costs and carbon emissions. Energy-efficient LED lighting with smart controls, including photocells and passive infrared sensors, minimised electricity uses while creating well-lit, inviting communal areas. We coordinated a natural smoke ventilation system and a residential sprinkler system, ensuring enhanced fire safety, safe evacuation routes, and compliance with regulatory standards. By combining renewable energy, efficient lighting, and intelligent safety features, our design enhances the quality of life for residents while supporting the development’s sustainability goals, creating functional and environmentally responsible shared spaces.
We have experience in working on many aspects of a project. Here's what we did for this project:
